Slip On Hub (SOH) Flange has a low hub as the pipe is inserted onto the bore of the flange before welding. The pipe is welded into inside and outside of the bore of the flange in order to guarantee sufficient strength and prevent leakage. The bore of all slip on flanges is slightly larger than outer diameter of the pipe connected.
